Kibale forest is a popular tourist destination in Uganda known for its huge population of primates with 13 different species recorded including habituated chimpanzees, baboons, colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, golden monkeys among others. Forest walks, bird watching and community visits are some of the top activities to expect on this tour.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park
You will have breakfast and then our Tour will drive you to Kibale forest national park. It’s about 300km 5-6 hours with a tarmac road and also a distance of 36km on murram to Kanyanchu Tourist centre. Relax the rest of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi wetland
After breakfast the will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing. During trekking you may also see birds include olive long-tailed cuckoo, Western Green tinker bird, the African Grey Parrot, Red-winged Francolin, Red-chested Flufftail, White-naped Pigeon, Green-brested Pitta, African Pitta, Joyful Greenbul, Grey-winged Robin, Abyssinian Ground Thrush, Grey-throated Flycatcher, White-bellied Crested Flycather, Masked and Black-capped Apalises, Uganda Woodland Warbler and Chestnut-winged Starling and other animals like red-tailed monkey, diademed monkey, blue monkey, white cheeked mangabey, olive baboon, chimpanzees, black, white and red colobus, bushbuck, Harvey’s red duiker, blue duiker, genet, bush pig, and African civet. Rare ones are buffalo, waterbuck, hippo, warthog, and giant forest hog, Forest Elephant may also be spotted. In the afternoon you will visit Bigodi wet land which is also good for bird watching. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 3: Kibale- Kampala
After breakfast you will drive back to Kampala, enroute you can visit the Nakyima tree.
